A Year In Review
# Choosing Peace in 2026
Looking through the year of client images I've collected, I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of peace. I have been blessed by each family that has chosen me to document this season in their child's life. If you're here, you may know that I have a senior this year too.
As the clock struck midnight last night on New Year's Eve and we were ushered into the new year, I had two thoughts. One was of the Nutcracker. Years of watching that show—the clock striking midnight to symbolize Clara's transition into a magical world—made me think of how my daughter is also being ushered into a new world with the stroke of the clock.
The other thought I had was how I would like to cultivate peace in 2026. I had the honor of seeing the Walk for Peace Monks as they came through our area, and their message is clear and concise: if you want peace in your world, it starts at home. It starts within me. With every breath and every step I take, I can choose peace or I can choose anger.
Anger has always been an easy emotion for me. I am going to choose accountability and peace this year and work every day to make those steps. That also includes showing up for you and showing up for my business.
Here's to a year of intentional peace, one breath and one step at a time.
Please enjoy a collection of client images from this past year.
